Florida Cement Worker Killed by Overturned Truck

A cement worker died Aug. 6 near Palm Beach, FL International Airport when a cement mixer truck overturned on him, killing him instantly.

The worker was working on building a new gas station under construction near the airport. As the workers were pouring the concrete, the truck tipped over onto its passenger side, where the worker was directing the job.

Police are investigating the tragic worker death today, and they will forward their report to OSHA, which will conduct its own investigation.
