Our View

This Virginia tractor trailer crash sounds like a case of inattention to the road. If a truck driver runs off the road into the median at high speed and flips over, this tells our Virginia truck accident attorneys that he may have fallen asleep or was distracted by a cell phone, radio or something else.

Some people may not realize that if they are injured in a truck or car crash and were friends with the driver who caused the crash, they still can file a personal injury lawsuit against the driver of the vehicle. Usually the insurance policies in effect for the driver and/or his company will provide compensation for injuries sustained in the crash, as well as money for lost wages and pain and suffering. These types of personal injury lawsuits can provide substantial settlements for the injured, making their recovery much easier and less stressful.
