One person died in an O’Fallon, Illinois tractor trailer crash on November 8.

According to the O’Fallon Police Department, a tractor trailer was reported to be driving a very high speeds on West Highway 50 in O’Fallon. Police received five calls from several drivers that the truck was speeding, and that there had been an accident. 

The police were attempting to locate the truck when they received more calls about another crash involving the same big rig.

When they got to the tractor trailer crash scene, the officers found four cars, a tractor trailer, and an accident scene that was 1/4 of a mile in length.

One of the cars had flipped on its roof and the driver was dead at the scene. Three others from the other vehicles were injured and taken to the hospital.

The truck driver is being held by the O’Fallon police, pending several charges.
